Nairobi, Kenya: Over 300 delegates, comprising technology leaders, innovators, entrepreneurs, national government ministries, county governments, private companies, and investors, are expected to convene from 10th to 14th March 2025 for the Innovate Kenya Tech Summit 2025  in Nairobi.

The delegates will explore opportunities for leveraging technology to address pressing challenges and create new economic opportunities for Kenyan youth.

Innovate Kenya Tech Summit 2025, convened by VIFFA Consult, is a stakeholder-driven week-long event designed to showcase the latest technological advancements and their potential to drive socio-economic development in Kenya and support the achievement of national and county governments’ strategic objectives as enumerated under MTP IV and CIDP 2023-2027, respectively.  

The 2025 summit is themed Innovation for Socioeconomic Development. The summit specifically seeks to explore how best to achieve the twin goals of, Unlocking economic opportunities for Kenyan youth with over 1 million joining the labour market with no employment opportunities and  Supporting national and county government in delivery of their respective mandate as per MTP IV and CIDP 2023-2027 respectively through Multi stakeholder collaboration.  

Innovate Kenya Tech Summit 2025 themes are outcome-based and aligned with  national government ministries and county government sectors and seek to answer how innovation and technology can be mainstreamed and adopted within government  powered by local Kenyan innovators, an approach that is aligned with the rallying call of  Buy Kenya Build Kenya. 

The summit themes are: 

  1. Tech for Inclusion: Bridging the digital divide and empowering marginalized communities. 
  2. Tech for Health: Improving healthcare access and outcomes using technology.
  3. Tech for Education: Enhancing education quality and accessibility through technology. 
  4. Tech for Agriculture: Boosting agricultural productivity and food security using technology. 
  5. Tech for Jobs: Creating new jobs and economic opportunities through technology. 
  6. Tech for Entrepreneurship: Supporting the growth of tech startups and MSMEs. 7. Tech for Gender Equality: Promoting gender equality and women’s empowerment in the tech sector. 
  7. Tech for Sustainability and Climate Change: Driving sustainable development through technology.

 8. Tech for Governance: Improving governance and accountability through technology.

  1. Tech for Rural Development: Bridging the urban-rural divide through technology. 
  2. Powering the future of gaming in Kenya for the socio-economic development of  youth 
  3. Technology for Transitioning the Informal Sector from the Informal to the Formal  Economy 
  4. Deal Room: Startup corporate collaboration and startup government  collaboration
