Prisons will take on the University of Zimbabwe in their final match of Pool B in the ongoing 2017 Women’s Africa Club Championship at Hallal Hall in Tunisia on Tuesday evening.
This will be a must win the match for the Kenyan side as they seek for a slot in the quarter-finals from the pool.
Prisons started the competition on the wrong footing following their defeat to the defending champions Al Ahly of Egypt but reorganized to pick two consecutive wins, against Bejaia of Algeria and Marsa of Tunisia.
The university of Zimbabwe who is making a debut in the championship have not won any match in the competition so far compared to Prisons who have won two.
Prisons will also be waiting for the outcome of another Pool B clash pitting defending champions Al Ahly and Bejaia of Tunisia to know who takes the second quarter final ticket. Ahly is top of the pool standing with three wins out three matches and have already qualified for the quarter-finals.
Other sides that have confirmed their slots in the quarterfinals include Carthage of Tunisia, from Pool A, Kenya Pipeline from Pool C, Shams of Egypt, Tunisia’s Sfaxien in Pool D,Ahly from Pool B.
Injis from Cameroon will take on debutants Ndejje University to determine who takes the second quarter final ticket from Pool A.
