Nairobi County, Kenya: A section of Nairobi County Assembly MCAs led by vocal Makongeni MCA Peter Anyone Imwatok has raised a red alarm over their lives being in danger. Others who claim the same are Speaker Beatrice Elachi and a section of MCAs.
The MCAs while addressing the press conferences at the precepts of the county assembly, were seriously concerned about the people some former state officers as being behind their tribulations as MCAs.
These people want to kill us including speaker who has been threatened we are aware out the speaker was recently summoned to a meeting by one of these people where they prevailed upon her to tore their line.
We shall not be cowed. We are aware of what the president wants when he brought NMS to work out functions of the County Government. And we shall strive to support His Excellency and The Right Honourable Raila Odinga.
Imwatok went on am ready to pay the price if it means taking my life. These are the same people frustrating assembly in court. Others who spoke were Kayole Mca Jeremiah Karani, Babadogo Godfrey Majiwa, all giving a warning should this persist then as an assembly they are ready for any consequences.
