Nairobi, Kenya: We are glad to announce that the Association of Freelance Journalists (AFJ) and Talk Africa got a Grant from the Google News Initiative through the News Equity Fund.
We at Talk Africa invite Journalists to submit story pitch proposals for story ideas focusing on development stories from Agriculture to Environment and innovation. The stories can either be multimedia features stories of 900 -1500 words or photo essays.
Kindly submit not more than one paragraph stating your idea in summary with a budget of not more than 100USD.
The grant applications should be sent by 24th April 2023 at 5 pm EAT. All successful applicants will be notified on 1st of May 2023.
Stories produced will be published on Talkafrica. Send your pitches to Afjournalists@gmail.com and cc mary41044@gmail.com with the Subject: Development Story Grant.
